AmmoMed is an Occupational Health Service Provider which focus it is to provide a total solution Health and Safety service to our clients on a national level.
AmmoMed specialise in on-site medicals and on-site or in-house training that is compliant with the Health & Safety Act.
AmmoMed’s aim is to provide the full circle health and wellness service, with the fewest interruptions to our client and an in partnership with employers and their employees.
Pre-placement/ Pre-employment medical
Ammo Fire Protection is SABS approved, a member of the Fire Protection Association and all its technicians are registered with the SAQCC board.
Annual/ Periodical medical examination
Ammo Fire Protecton has been evaluated in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, & has been rewarded a Level 1 status.
Exit medical examinations

AmmoMed Services
A medical would include a combination of the following tests:
- Physical medical examination (BMI/BP/Pulse/Urine analysis)
- Lung function (Spiro) test
- Audio (Hearing) test
- Vision screening (Snellen/ Keystone)
Additional testing or additional questionnaires will be done in accordance to risk exposures:
- Biological monitoring
- Chest x-ray
- Drug test
- Additional questionnaires or tests (psychological testing/ working on heights/ confined spaces/ cold storage/ heat/ food handling/ TB / 6hygiene/ solvents etc
